Being raised as a first generation Latina in the heart of north Philadelphia , with roots from Colombia and Puerto Rico; Karen has seen firsthand the lack of resources available to our communities, including the lack of financial literacy/confidence and a comfortable space to ask for help.
Fully licensed as a financial advisor, and on the road to getting her Certified Financial Planning designation, Karen’s passions lie in uplifting underserved communities and breaking barriers in creating generational wealth. Her career has been dedicated to helping others think about their future and to work together with her clients on making a solid plan to feel financially confident with whatever the future brings ahead.
When she’s not working or hanging with her friends, you can find Karen connecting with artists at Walls for Justice events, enjoying a hike in nature, or hanging with family. She also lives with a Dachshund named pickles and 3 cats, 1 of which is her adopted ‘daughter‘ named Tilly that entice her to be a homebody.
Karen holds her life, accident, and health insurance license, as well as her SIE, Series 7, and Series 66 licenses. She is on track to get her CFP designation by the end of 2024.
